Registration procedure


Registrations are handled via the CAA Conference OCS (Open Conference System).

Registration fee and options payment can only be processed once. Please make sure you chose all the options you are interested in before completing the payment.

To register please follow the instructions below:

A.   Please click here to directly access the Registration page or press the REGISTER NOW button under the main menu. 
You can also access the Registration page by navigating through the web site. Start by clicking Submissions/Registrations on the top of the web page, then choose 'CAA 2013' under 'Current conferences' and press 'Registration' from the 'Conference information' section.
B.   Select the registration option of interest, then press 'Register'.
C.   Select the options of interest and add any special request.
If you are not already logged in and already have a user account, please login in by pressing 'click here' in the 'User Account' section.
If you do not have a user account, please complete the provided form.
D.  Press the 'Register' button.
E.   You will  be redirected to the Univeristy of Sydney Pay Online web site, where you will be able to enter your Credit Card details.
F.   You should immediately receive a confirmation email followed by an invoice email.


Please contact and notify us that you need to pay via bank transfer.

Complete the steps A to D of the previous section for registration prior to payment via bank transfer.

It is absolutely essential that you provide the following information in the comments of your transfer form:

  • the following code: D0002 R3567 RI3CAA2013
  • your name/surname

If you do not include this information, we will be unable to track your payment.

After payment is made, please email the bank slip to Please bring your copy of the bank transfer to the registration desk.

Please note that the bank transfer payments must be received within 10 working days from the date of the Early bird or Standard registration deadline. The conference secretariat reserves the right to cancel your pre-registration should there be no payment received within this given grace period. The bank transfer payment mode is available up until 13 March 2013. After this date, all payments must be made via credit card.

Limited on-site registration will be available at the conference, but ONLY in certain cases and ONLY for participation starting from the following day due to catering and logistic requirements. Participants are strongly encouraged to register prior to their arrival to avoid disappointment.

 Full Conference Registration (Early bird and Regular) includes:

  • Attendance at Conference Sessions and workshops
  • Conference Bag and Program
  • Morning/Afternoon Teas & Lunches

Day Delegate Registration (Early bird and Regular) includes:

  • Attendance at Conference Sessions on the day of your Registration
  • Conference Bag and Program
  • Morning/Afternoon Tea & Lunch on the day of your Registration

Companion Registration includes:

  • access to the Foyer 
  • Morning/Afternoon Tea & Lunch either every day (4 days registration) or on the day of Registration (1 day registration).

The accompanying person can attend receptions and events. There is an additional payment of 85 AU$ for participation to the social dinner.


Registration fees DO NOT include the cost of the Conference dinner nor the Proceedings. These are charged separately.

If you plan to join the pre/post-conference tours, please indicate it in the Registration form by selecting a single tour option (1 or 2 days). Tours will be charged separately.

CAA Bursary Scheme

If you are a student, an early career researcher, a low income professional or you come from a less affluent region, you might be eligible to apply for a CAA Travel bursary. More information on the Bursary Scheme are available in our CAA Bursary Scheme web page.


For cancellation notifications received before 28th February 2013, registrants will receive a refund minus a processing fee. After 1st march 2013 no refunds can be given. To request a refund, please email
