As part of the CAA 2012 we are running a competition to encourage participants to help to populate the Wikipedia pages about:
- Computer Applications in Archaeology <– coming soon!
- Computational Archaeology
Over the course of the conference, participants are asked to sign up to Wikipedia and fill in some information about these two topics.
After the event, everyone will have a chance to rate the newly created pages in Wikipedia.
Exciting prizes will be given to the top ten contributors to the pages.
The winners will be announced on the new CAA website.
Anyone can participate, so if you are interested in taking part, you can sign up for a Wikipedia account on the Wikipedia website so that you can start editing as soon as you arrive at the conference.
